Regulatory Affairs

Fannin provides an experienced regulatory service for agency submissions and we have experience over a range of product types but most specifically hospital injectables. We have experience in National, MRP and DCP submissions across Europe and have excellent relationships with the Regulatory bodie

Fannin provides regulatory strategy for new product development in the EU. This includes development strategies in terms of formulation, indications and dosage instructions. We also have extensive experience in labelling and packaging to ensure products comply with best practice. Fannin can represent companies at meetings with regulatory agencies.

We are also pleased to offer license maintenance service in which we aim to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Pharmacovigilance:
Fannin offers a pharmacovigilance service, to reflect the substantial change in the way that the pharmacovigilance responsibilities of the Marketing Authorisation Holder are regulated by the MHRA. This could include the provision of a qualified person for pharmacovigilance.

User testing:
Fannin are experienced in the provision of user testing services for technical and patient information leaflets and are pleased to offer this service to other companies.

Our Regulatory Affairs department is fully developed, employing an experienced team, fully experienced in all aspects of their function.

Manufacture, Sales and Marketing Services for hospital pharmaceuticals

Fannin (UK) Limited is experienced in the development of partnership relationships with secondary companies keen to grow their business through the sales of pharmaceutical products into the UK hospital market.

We are able to offer the distribution of supplier manufactured products with an existing product license into the UK. We have an experienced sales force, customer services department and distribution system allowing rapid and seamless supply into the UK market. We have extensive experience in generic contracting and have solid relationships with the purchasing authorities and users. We are currently ranked as one of the top 10 companies in the UK for reliability of supply on the NHS PASA SCEP generic contracts.

Pharmaceutical – Fannin first established its Pharmacy Department in the 1890’s. In 2002 it strengthened its presence through its acquisition of TechnoPharm Limited who had rapidly developed a reputation for the introduction of high quality, innovative and cost effective medicines and services. Focused on the immuno-compromised and the critically ill it has developed a broad range of branded and generic value added compounds in the areas of oncology, haematology, microbiology, anaesthesia and parenteral nutrition. Critical Care - Fannin has provided innovative solutions to the needs of surgical and critical care teams for over 50 years. The company provides a cost-effective portfolio of highly innovative products for the anaesthesia, IV therapy and critical care markets.

Endosurgery - The EndoSurgery Division provides innovative solutions for minimally invasive surgery. The EndoSurgery division’s broad product range includes surgical stapling products, trocar systems, tissue retrieval sacs, hernia mesh, disposable laparoscopic instruments, and imaging systems. All the products are carefully sourced and Fannin works closely with its suppliers and partners to provide the right blend of quality, price and innovation. It is the mission of the EndoSurgery Division of Fannin to provide the best possible service and products in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Surgical - Through the acquisition of GU Medical, Fannin’s Surgical division offers a wide range of quality surgical instrumentation and is part of the PASA Framework Agreement for both reusable and single use instrumentation and members of ABHI. The company has gained leadership positions in urology, cardio-thoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, and general surgical instrument specialties. All surgical instruments offered by the GU Surgical division are also available worldwide via our Export Division.
