New HFA Manufacturing Facility

CCL Pharmaceuticals, the contact development and aerosol manufacturing company, are getting ready for the commercialisation of its clients expected new product registrations for HFA metered dose respiratory aerosols (mdis). CCL have converted and refurbished an existing production area to Class 10000 manufacturing standards for mdi bulk manufacturing and aerosol filling. The facility can handle suspensions and solution based formulations and is flameproofed for alcoholic formulations. Single-stage with vacuum crimp, and two-stage filling is also available.

New manufacturing and filling equipment has been installed in February ready for production start-up post validation in Quarter 3 2000

This new facility will operate alongside CCL's existing CFC mdi manufacturing facility, which will continue to produce product for several markets.
