Labtec GmbH being located in Langenfeld (between Düsseldorf and Cologne) is a subsidiary of tesa SE, Hamburg and member of the Beiersdorf Group of companies. Our core business is the development and production of innovative pharmaceutical dosage forms such as transdermal systems (TDS) and fast oral dissolving films (ODF). Well-known pharmaceutical companies in Europe and World-Wide are our customers.

To expand our business we are looking for a

Director Business Development & Licensing (m/f)

The major role of the Director Business Development & Licensing will be to expand our company's business by identifying and attracting new customers. You will be responsible for establishing contracts for the development services and manufacturing capabilities of Labtec as well as negotiation of the licensing agreements for our own development products to the pharmaceutical industry.  Alliance Management is also one of your tasks.

You will report to the responsible Managing Director.

As our ideal candidate you must have considerable experience in a comparable position within the pharmaceutical industry and ideally a background in marketing, market research, product management or project management.

A university degree in one of the commerce, economics or business administration streams and affection for life sciences may prove useful for entry into the position. Also candidates with a university degree in life science (medicine, biology, pharmacy) with an additional education in commerce/economics are welcome.

You are an organized and strong negotiator with a good network in the industry. Domestic and overseas travel is not a problem for you. You are fluent in German and English. Furthermore you should have very good communication skills and you are highly motivated and resilient.
