16 October, Godalming, UK: Sinclair Pharma plc ("Sinclair"), a specialty pharmaceutical company, announces that Aloclair spray has been launched in the US by OMNI Preventive Care, a 3M ESPE Company.

Aloclair spray has been launched in the US under the brand name Ameseal. Ameseal will be marketed as an Oral Lesion Relief Spray which forms a protective barrier for fast, long lasting pain relief from mouth ulcers, irritations or sores.

Approximately 20% of the general population is affected by mouth ulcers, and they are particularly common in children, women and people over age 65. While many conventional mouth ulcer products contain anaesthetics, which can be painful or difficult to apply, Ameseal/Aloclair offers a new way of managing mouth ulcers. When sprayed onto the ulcer, a barrier is formed that protects the ulcer from painful stimulation by chewing, speaking, food or drink. Ameseal is presented as a convenient, portable pocket pack which can be applied discreetly.

The Aloclair range of products are now sold in 31 countries. OMNI has exclusive rights to promote Ameseal Spray to dental professionals and consumers in the US.
