Until joining MolecularNature (MNL), Miles was VP-Tumour Immunotherapy at Oxford BioMedica, a UK listed biopharmaceutical company. Within Oxford BioMedica he was instrumental in the invention of the cancer immunotherapeutic 'TroVax' and led it through pre-clinical to phase II clinical trials in late stage cancer patients. He obtained his PhD at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research, Manchester, where he worked on HIV vaccines. Prior to Oxford Biomedica he developed new recombinant viral vectors for cancer immunotherapy whilst working at the National Institutes for Health in Bethesda, USA.
Miles will join MNL in August 2004 and will take overall responsibility for research and development activities.

Miles brings both preclinical and clinical development experience'.
