Feik, President and Chief Operating Officer of DFB Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has announced that Paul Johnson has been named President of DPT, DFB's contract manufacturing affiliate; Mr. Johnson was formerly Senior Vice President and General Manager at DPT. "Paul's experience and proven ability assure excellent leadership for the future," said Mr. Feik. "DFB's considerable growth, through a number of substantial acquisitions, has led to expansion into new markets and new research areas. These opportunities have catalyzed a refinement of our organization as we meet customer demand." Mr. Johnson joined DPT in 1993 following a successful career with Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc. Since then he has held positions in manufacturing, materials and project management, and sales and marketing for both foreign and domestic clients. Mr. Johnson's contributions resulted in a significant growth in sales for DPT and earned him the title of Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2000. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and his M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Mr. Johnson's superior leadership and commitment to recognizing the value of the individual people at DPT have greatly contributed to his success, according to Feik.
