Alliance Pharmaceuticals signs marketing and distribution agreement with Barrier Therapeutics, Inc.

Alliance Pharmaceuticals Ltd has entered into an agreement with Barrier Therapeutics, Inc. giving Alliance Pharmaceuticals access to Barrier's portfolio of dermatology products currently in development. The agreement has given Alliance Pharmaceuticals first option to market and distribute the products in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Barrier Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel dermatological products. The privately held company was formed to develop and market dermatological products based on intellectual property initially in-licensed from affiliates of Johnson & Johnson.

Barrier Therapeutics is headquartered in Princeton, USA and has a wholly-owned subsidiary in Geel, Belgium.
