We are pleased to announce that Ms. Kamariah Ahmad has joined Pharmaceutical Regulatory Services, Inc. as the Managing Director for the two new subsidiaries in Asia, namely PRS Singapore Pte. Ltd. and PRS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
Ms Ahmad is a recognized industry regulatory expert in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. She has worked as a regulatory specialist for more than 10 years in these countries and has witnessed the evolution of regulatory procedures and requirements through the years. She has accumulated not only thorough hands-on experience with regulatory procedures in the area but has also developed a network of contacts, both in industry as well as within the authorities.
She is a member of the Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PhAMA) and a member of the technical working group of the ASEAN Consultative Committee for Standards & Quality for Pharmaceutical PWG. Through these affiliations, she is involved as an industry expert in the ongoing regulatory harmonization initiative in the 10 ASEAN countries. Her experience comes from working for a top ten multinational company where she had received numerous internal awards for her quality and innovative approaches.
Kamariah holds a bachelors degree in Pharmacy from the University of Science, Malaysia. In addition to her regulatory expertise, she brings even broader pharmaceutical experience having worked in Industrial Pharmacy both as a Production Manager and as a Quality Assurance Manager during her early career life.
