Our US based clients are developing an antigen intended for the treatment of breast cancer by dendritic cell (DC) vaccine production. The antigen may be used in a wide range of technology platforms, (e.g. recombinant vectors, liposomes, gene therapy) and could potentially be included in new therapeutic vaccines.
The client has developed new methods for an enhanced and controlled response to antigen in DC. The client's proprietary DC vaccine formulation prevents activation of regulatory (suppressor) T cells and potentiates anti-tumor immune responses.
The client is ideally interested in out-licensing this antigen to prospective companies. The client would also consider partnerships for development of antigen-specific DC vaccines in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials for ovarian cancer and other malignancies.
