OPTIMAGS SPECIAL KNIFE COATER TECHNOLOGY OPTIMAGS delivers complete solutions for the pharmaceutical patch and oral strip production. Our SPECIAL KNIFE COATER TECHNOLOGY permits an extreme accuracy across and along the coat (typically better than 1% at 100g/sqm for an adhesive coat).
Wet-thickness control takes place immediately after the coating head and an additional dry thickness sensor is located at the drier exit. Only the coating knife is in contact with the coating solution Small size, simple construction and low weight enable fast and easy replacement of coater in case of product changes The technology is fully automatic and a recipe controlled production is possible.
