- As one of Neumed’s lead product, HS024 is isolated from a natural plant and targets the Stroke market, where there still remains an unmet need.

 - Protector over 50% from brain damage in stroke animal model

- In multiple investigators’ blind tests, HS024 shows protective efficacy all the time, with over 50% of protective rate. Compared to Edaravone®, the effect is similar or more effective and the death rate of HS024 is half of Edaravone®’s.

- Protector from neuronal damage in vascular dementia animal model

- HS024 reduces neuronal damage in a Vascular Dementia animal model.

- Mechanism study 1 - Anti-inflammation effect

- HS024 protects cerebral cells from LPS-induced inflammation and death in culture. cell survival with HS024 treatment has a linear dose-response effect.

- HS024 shows a strong anti-inflammatory effect by suppressing inflammation-related enzymes, such as MMP-3 and COX-2, NO generation, and pons cells activation.

- HS024 activates heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), an enzyme which has known as anti-oxidant activity.
