UR-1505: Immunomodulator, Phase II

UR-1505 is being developed for the topical treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis

UR-1505 inhibits lymphocyte proliferation by a novel mechanism.

Full description

The molecule shows good topical and systemic efficacy in several models of inflammatory diseases and a good pharmacokinetic profile. UR-1505 inhibits lymphocyte proliferation by a novel mechanism. UR-1505’s unique profile may provide an alternative to current medications, overcoming the safety concerns associated with corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors.

UR-1505 is being developed for the topical treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. A phase IIa clinical trial in psoriatic patients has established the product’s efficacy. A phase IIa trial in atopic dermatitis is currently ongoing.
