Focusing on the histamine H4 receptor, which is expressed in key participants of immune disorders such as mast cells and T-cells, Palau Pharma has identified a pre-clinical candidate that exhibits anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties without corticosteroid side effects.

Preliminary results in animal models show good efficacy for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and asthma.
