Nalbuphine is an outstanding opioid. It is a Mu-receptor antagonist and a Kappa-receptor agonist. Therefore it is an opiate antagonist which is nevertheless having a high analgesic potential via the kappa-receptors. This makes it very unique. Target groups are above all anaesthetists and hospitals. Nalbuphine is not a scheduled opioid and therefore very easy to handle.
