Out-licensing

The omega-3 fatty acids are extracted from New Zealand green lipped mussels and developed into oils for use in anti-inflammatory compounds by our UK based clients.

The omega-3 fatty acids are combined alongside hyaluronic acid and are currently sold in a successful OTC joint care range in the UK. The acids have also demonstrated further potential to treat other indications including asthma, dermatitis and oral health diseases.

The company responsible for developing the fatty acids have full control of the supply chain from extraction right through to product formulation. They are now looking to sell the whole company including the manufacturing factories to a potential partner. Any interested companies should have the relevant development and financial expertise to maintain the current company activities and develop the new product indications.

The client is looking for parties interested in a potential acquisition of the portfolio of companies developing the fatty acids, including the manufacturing bases. Clients focused in the musculoskeletal, respiratory, dermatological or oral health arena would be of particular interest.
