Our clients are sourcing and developing unique omega-3 fatty acids from green lipped mussels for the treatment of joints, asthma and dermatitis in animals.

The company responsible for sourcing the mussel fatty acids have already launched a successful joint care range in the UK for animals. A further equine asthma product range is about to be launched as well as products to treat asthma and dermatitis in animals.

Every aspect of the omega-3 fatty acid supply production is controlled by our client company, from extracting the mussels through to oil and product formulation. The company has extensive knowledge in this field and has identified further therapeutic indications for the fatty acids to treat. The company are now looking to sell the animal healthcare department of the business.

Ideally the client would like a potential partner company to acquire the whole animal healthcare business including the already established product joint care ranges. Priority companies would include those from the musculoskeletal, respiratory, or dermatological arena.
