Sensitive Dehydrated Skins Cream

APR Applied Pharma Research S.A.
Hypoallergenic moisturizing cream for dermatitis and dehydrated skin espcially formulated for sensitive skin, thanks to the total absence of preservayives and perfumes

Mechanism of action

Excellent skin moisturising and protective properties

Full description

ATOSKIN cream is a dermocosmetic treatment for atopic, dehydrated and particularly delicate skin.

Preservatives and perfumes normally present in local-use preparations may cause specific skin sensitisation conditions; APR has developed a new formulation completely safe and hypoallergenic: ATOSKIN cream.

ATOSKIN cream is free from preservatives and perfumes, but its special combination of substances of a different nature and functional capacity ensures that the product is protected against yeasts, moulds and bacteria. Moreover the specific vehicle selection gives the product a pleasant smell without any perfumed additives . The microbiological and clinical results obtained show that ATOSKIN cream is self-preservative, non-irritant and hypoallergenic, has excellent skin moisturising and protective properties thanks to the synergistic action of sodium hyaluronate with aloe barbadensis and jojoba oil, which are able to ensure perfect long-term maintenance of the epidermal layer.

Microbiological and clinical tests performed on ATOSKIN cream

CHALLENGE TEST: evaluation of ATOSKIN cream self-preservative properties. Test results demonstrate that ATOSKIN cream is self-preservative.

Shelanski and Shelanski modified tests (repeated epicutaneous tests): evaluation of ATOSKIN cream hypoallergenic properties on 25 patients. The test results demonstrate that ATOSKIN cream is non irritant and hypoallergenic.

CLINICAL TEST for cosmetic evaluation of moisturising (corneometer) and protective (tewameter) properties on 20 patients. These clinical tests show that: - ATOSKIN cream provides excellent moisturisation in short term treatment (30 minutes) - ATOSKIN cream provides excellent moisturisation in long term treatment (45 days) - ATOSKIN cream provides an excellent barrier effect, in fact, after 60 days treatment, the TEWL (trans-epidermic water loss) decreases
