Febrary 08 2010 --In 2009, Dong-A achieved 14.1 percent growth in sales for a total of 801 billion 60 million won. Operating income rose 12.5 percent to 91 billion 925 million won, and net income soared 46.5 percent to 63 billion 433 million won. This tremendous performance was made possible by Dong-A's balanced growth at home and abroad. It did well not only in its domestic hospital business (prescription drugs) and pharmacy business (over-the-counter drugs), but also with exports.
