The group has a range compounds and biological entities in it's clinical pipeline developed in-house or in-licensed. We currently have several biologic entities (Cardiovascular and Oncology) at late stage development (Phase 3) in our pipeline and we are interested in adding to this portfolio by in-licensing, particularly in the previously mentioned therapeutic areas. We are ideally interested in large molecules that fit this direction, and would be interested in discussing further details with companies that have molecules of this nature.

Menarini Biotech an integral part of the group assists our licensing and R&D functions in the evaluation and selection of in-licensing opportunities. We are a centre of excellence for biotechnology in Italy, we have our own development and manufacturing facilities for cell culture and microbial fermentation derived biologics. We have international experts and an experienced team who have developed and commercialised many biologic products both for Menarini and other major International Pharmaceutical Companies. Menarini has a proven delivery track record and has a flexible approach to in-licensing and is willing to discuss options that provide mutual advantage. The group is currently focus on all of Europe including Turkey, Asia including India and China and has plans to expand into the USA
