The Purdue/Mundipharma/Napp independent associated companies have developed a world leading position in the treatment of cancer symptoms such as pain. Over recent years, the companies have launched DepoCyte throughout Europe, and are developing forodesine for the treatment of haematological malignancies. Mundipharma has established a pan-European specialist oncology sales force, for which they seek complementary products. Products must offer sustainable market exclusivity and which offer synergies with a sales force targetting primarily haemato-oncologists and medical oncologists. The companies' capabilities include strong relationships with physicians from a wide range of disciplines throughout Europe, clinical and regulatory expertise, and a tradition of effective marketing and medical education.

Mundipharma aims to be a flexible and responsive business partner. We will explore partnering options that will maximise the potential of a novel product for both partners. Typically this will be a licensing deal, but Mundipharma also has the flexibility to negotiate fostering and co-promotion agreements with companies wishing to develop their own sales and marketing capabilities. We are looking for novel, late stage therapeutics for marketing through a European wide specialist sales force.
