OMEGA CRO was founded on 13 March 1997. Starting from the 1993 with the first release of regulations regarding clinical trials by Turkish Ministry of Health, Turkey as a new market speeds up to improve at clinical trials. OMEGA CRO aims to take advantage of Turkey's potential with respect to Medical Centres, investigators and patient population to carry out clinical trials. OMEGA CRO is also working on possible expansions to neighboring countries in Eastern Europe; like Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece; because of geographic advantages and in Middle East; like Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia.
