Cellectis was founded in late 1999. It is a spin-off from the Pasteur Institute. Cellectis researches, develops and commercializes rational genome engineering technologies. Cellectis' goal is to establish Rational Genome Engineering as the standard in the field. Cellectis aim to significantly expand their in-house programs for automation of custom made Meganuclease, while also strengthening collaborative programs with partners.
