Trinity Biotech was formed in 1992. The company has expanded through a combination of internal and acquisition-led growth. Trinity's major acquisitions include Disease Detection International (March 1994), Clark Laboratories (February 1997), Centocor UK (July 1997), MarDx® Diagnostics (March 2000), the Hemostasis Division of Sigma Diagnostics (August 2002) and the Specialty Clinical Chemistry business from Sigma Diagnostics (December 2002). Trinity Biotech has three manufacturing sites in Bray (Ireland), Jamestown (New York) and Carlsbad (California). Bray and Jamestown sites are FDA approved and ISO registered.
