The company was founded in 1999 as Innoventus Uppsala Life Science. Innoventus is a bioscience project development company that works with researchers and industry partners to commercialise ideas. By forging strategic relationships with industry partners, Innoventus moves scientific ideas toward commercial product marketability. Innoventus' exit strategy is to attract industrial and venture capital.
