Inion was founded in 1999 by internationally recognized experts in CMF (craniomaxillofacial) surgery and biomaterial sciences. Inion will continue the construction of their global marketing infrastructure including direct sales forces in the USA and Europe. Following the international launch of the company's craniomaxillofacial products, Inion can now also fully concentrate on the development of their next Strategic Business Area, orthopaedics. Beyond orthopaedics, the company intend to accelerate fundamental research associated with bioactive materials for use in second generation of hybrid products. Inion has subsidiaries in the USA and UK.
