Laboratorios Rubió was founded in 1968 by two brothers, Salvador and Pelayo Rubió, who were concerned that a significant number of medicines required by doctors were not available in the Spanish market. Laboratorios Rubió established a new plant in Castellbisbal (Barcelona) that was finished in 1998.
