Eurand was founded in Milan Italy in 1969. From 1989-1999, Eurand was part of American Home Products Corporation (AHPC). The company became independent in 1999 as the result of a leveraged buy out from AHPC led by management and Warburg Pincus. Eurand is a global company with more than 500 employees.
