Bio-Layer
Summary
Bio-Layer is a materials science company that has developed a platform for the rapid design of novel materials for the biotechnology, medical & pharmaceutical industries. Its initial focus is providing materials solutions that change the way immunoassays are developed for the drug discovery and diagnostic industries, a $6 billion market place. In October of 2005, SSH medical (a publicly listed company, ASX:SSH) made a reverse acquisition of Bio-Layer. Bio-Layer's management and business remain in place and SSH medical is expected to soon change its name to Bio-layer.
