Cancer Research Technology

Cancer Research Technology
Oncology-focused development and commercialisation company

The company in detail

Profile

Cancer Research Technology (CRT) is an oncology-focused development and commercialisation company that realises cancer patient benefit from publicly-funded research worldwide

At CRT we bridge the fundamental gap between cutting edge academic research and industrial development of cancer therapeutics and diagnostics. We achieve this by working closely with prestigious international research institutes and funding bodies to develop, protect and commercialise oncology related discoveries. Core activities of business development and drug discovery are supported by specialist, integrated teams of patent, legal, finance and marketing personnel. Our exclusive focus in oncology provides for an unrivalled depth of knowledge and experience in cancer-specific translational development and commercialisation.

CRT is wholly owned by the charity Cancer Research UK, the largest independent funder of cancer research in the world. All proceeds are shared with inventors and their institutions, whilst profits are returned to Cancer Research UK to support further cancer research. The company is well resourced to achieve its mission, with its headquarters and an established R&D facility in London, and a US subsidiary in Boston
