Juvantia Pharma was founded in 1997. Juvantia Pharma aims to provide product concepts which address unmet medical needs in central nervous system and vascular disease areas. The company complements its in-house Targeted Discovery(TM) approach with a model of networking: they have upstream collaborations with academia to identify new product concepts and form drug discovery collaborations with other pharmaceutical companies. Juvantis Pharma also outsources preclinical and clinical development using clinical research organisations and contract manufacturers.
