In 1992 Athlone Laboratories was acquired by Kent Pharmaceuticals, a large independent pharmaceutical wholesaler in the UK. Major investment has since been made in both manufacturing plant and equipment resulting in a newly refurbished state-of-the-art 24,000 square feet complex.
