Profile

APR Applied Pharma Research s.a. (APR) is a Swiss based, privately held, independent, Research & Development company focused in two main areas:

  1. R&D of proprietary, innovative and patented pharmaceutical (Rx and OTC) products as well as Medical Device and Dietary Supplements to be out - licensed for marketing and sale;
  2. R&D Service Provider on third party products under contract.

APR leverages on its proprietary Oral and Topical Drug Delivery Systems, technical and regulatory Know How as well as on market knowledge for the identification, devlopment, Value Creation and Licensing of Innovative Products either directly or under Contract. APR is strongly committed to keep high levels of flexibility and creativity to speed up the development at competitive costs and risks for the customers as well as to perfectly meet customer needs.

APR is structured as an Integrated, Centrally Managed, Global Product Development Service Provider and it is positioned as One Stop Shop R&D and Regulatory unit for its own as well as on third party products ranging from formulation studies up to a "key in hands" registration dossier; APR is internally staffed and equipped to carry out technical, clinical and regulatory activities on its own R&D pipeline and on third party products.

APR uses a Validated eCTD Software for the generation of harmonized data and documentation sets prepared in a dossier ready format.

Partnering strategy/interests

APR is interested to evaluate any partnering opportunity with drug discovery as well as drug delivery companies focused in oral and topical products and interested to join forces and boost product development of new innovative drugs.

APR is also interested to evaluate in-licensing opportunities of primising early stage drug candidates in the oral, topical and transdermal areas.
