In 1982, FHI pioneered the integration of technology into the trial process in a large scale, multinational trial. PharmaLink was established in 1998, and was recognized as the first CRO to specialize in internet-based management of clinical trials.
The primary areas of focus for PharmaLinkFHI's business are the U.S., Japan, and Europe, which account for 90% of the world market for clinical research. The company intends to develop familiarity with other international research venues this knowledge should prove increasingly valuable as the barriers to international drug approval fall and competition for qualified clinicians and eligible patients increases.
