ReGen is an early-stage biopharmaceutical company developing Colostrinin (a natural sourced material) for Alzheimers. Colostrinin may also have utility as a neutraceutical
Formed in 1998, ReGen Therapeutics is focused on the development and exploration of a drug for the prophylaxis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders. Guildford Clinical Pharmacology Unit Ltd., a Contract Research Organisation based in Surrey, England, was added to the ReGen group of companies in late 2004. The key features of its business are innovation in measuring pain and motility of the gastrointestinal system, its association with a major general hospital and an international list of clients. Since the beginning of 2006, ReGen Therapeutics' pharmaceutical business has been split into two separate spheres of activity. The company's original project, the research and development of ColostrininTM and its constituent peptides as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, has now been supplemented by the acquisition of rights to develop an alternative use for an existing drug, zolpidem.
