Profile

Inven2 AS is the leading Technology Transfer Office (TTO) in life science and healthcare in Norway. Inven2 AS is the merger between the two TTOs Medinnova AS and Birkeland Innovation AS, and is now handling all inventions stemming from University of Oslo and all hospitals in the Oslo region handling about 70 % of all patients in Norway. We receive about 200 disclosures of invention each year. 150 is within the life science sector. Inven2 AS is dedicated to facilitate the process from early research idea to commercial product.

Our mission is to generate new products, services and business through out-lisensing of intellectual property resulting from research, spin-out company formation, consulting and material sales.

Inven2 AS provides access to worldclass research expertise within several areas, and work close with the researchers to identify valuable project at a very early stage. Inven2 AS manages the further commercialisation process and covers all critical steps along the value chain.

Inven2 AS also manage different types of collaboration projects between international biotech-, medtech-, and pharmaceutical companies and leading basal, translational and clinical research groups at our hospitals.

Partnering strategy/interests

Inven2 AS seeks partners for licensing of intellectual property within several technology fields.
For particular innovations we are as well interested in partners for research collaboration and commercial development. Inven2 AS is also seeking investors/partners for joint development and optimization of the potential in our startup companies.
