Swedish Skin Care, Inc.
Patented skin care licensing opportunities in North America

The company in detail

Profile

Swedish Skin Care designs and develops high-performance, patented skin care technologies for licensing in the Rx, OTC and cosmeceutical markets.

The Company was founded in 1993 by Bengt and Gunnar Johansson, two Swedish brothers who worked closely with Dr. Hugo Wikholm, Ph.D, a research biochemist who invented Prosanol, the Company's flagship technology.

This proprietary technology was based on a breakthrough concept from Dr. Wikholm, who, after years of research and development - discovered a means of synthesizing common cosmetic ingredients into a safe and potent composition that has shown remarkably promising healing properties for a variety of skin conditions, diseases and concerns.

The Company strongly believes that its patented technology can be strategically leveraged to create new competitive advantages in numerous dermatology markets (including potential OTC to Rx switches and vice-versa).

If in-licensing is a key strategic priority for your company, please contact us today to explore building new, exciting products and markets with Swedish Skin Care.  For more information about the Company, please visit www.swedishskincarelicensing.com and www.swedishskincare.com

Partnering strategy/interests

Swedish Skin Care seeks like-minded, forward-thinking licensing partners in the Rx, OTC and Cosmeceutical markets whose strategy is to introduce new, patented, high-performance products in large, underserved markets at a fraction of the normal time, costs and risks associated with traditional product launches.

One of the fascinating aspects of our technology is in the accelerated healing of damaged skin. In particular, our technology appears useful in treating 1st degree burns (including sunburn); razor burn / shaving and waxing irritations; pruritus of various etiologies; dry, cracking skin; cold sores; fungus; minor skin wounds (e.g. surgical scarring, cuts, abrasions and lacerations) and psoriasis.

The technology is presently licensed in the U.S. indoor tanning marketplace.

We encourage parties interested in potential acquisition and/or licensing opportunities (including our patented formulas and registered trademarks) to contact us directly. Upon request, product samples are available to facilitate your own independent testing, evaluation and due diligence.
