Supernus has a proven track record of developing differentiated products using drug delivery technology platforms in collaboration with partners and more recently for its own CNS product portfolio. Multiple partner products have been commercialized using Supernus drug delivery expertise to create truly differentiated products. Supernus oral controlled release and bioavailabilty enhancement platforms are the subject of numerous issued patents and filed patent applications that are focused on optimizing performance attributes of development stage programs and improving delivery of known entities for branded product concepts and lifecyle management initiatives.
Supernus has now developed a robust pipeline of CNS programs for which it is seeking late stage development and marketing/co-marketing partnerships. The lead program for the treatment of epilepsy entered Phase III in 2008.
Supernus Pharmaceuticals is actively seeking:
1. Development and Marketing partners for three late stage development opportunities that may require pediatric, neurology, psychiatry, primary care or other physician sales coverage that is not core to Supernus' focus in the US.
2. Co-Development and Co-marketing partners in ex-US territories for product opportunities that are in the Supernus development porfolio.Partnerships for application of its drug delivery platforms.
3. Co-development or in-licensure opportunities for the US specialty CNS market.
4. Drug delivery partnerships in the CNS space that may also include co-marketing rights.
