Our challenge as leaders and practitioners of R&D is that the potential of the post genomic era has not yet translated into new levels of drug discovery. This talk will explore various hypotheses to explain the conundrum and will outline elements of Pfizer's response, including the integration of synergistic technologies to advance its R&D capacity.
